Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a system of assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing pain and dysfunction in the body.
It is based on the principle that the body functions best when all its systems are working in harmony. Osteopaths use hands-on techniques to restore movement, reduce tension, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.

At True Body Clinic, we understand that pain can be more than just physical. It can limit your confidence, energy, and ability to enjoy life. Whether you're struggling with persistent discomfort, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to move and feel better, our osteopathic approach is tailored to you.

Our goal is to help you regain strength, mobility, and control over your health so you can live life on your terms.

What To Expect
Case history
Your visit will begin with a thorough case history to understand your unique symptoms, past medical history and lifestyle. This enables your Osteopath to understand how your pain or dysfunction has occurred.
Assessment & Diagnosis
We will conduct a comprehensive assessment, which will involve observing your posture, examining your joints range of motion, palpating (feeling) your muscles and joints , plus any necessary special testing (such as blood pressure). This helps your Osteopath understand the root causes of your issue.
Explanation & Treatment plan
Your Osteopath will provide a diagnosis and explain it in simple terms for your education & understand. We believe in transparency and encourage you to ask questions
Together, we will create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and health goals. This plan will outline the techniques and approaches best to help you.
Hands-on treatment & advice
Osteopathic treatment techniques may include manual joint mobilisations and/or adjustments, soft tissue massage and exercise prescription.
You will take away key advice on how to manage your condition effectively, including tailored exercises, guidance on load management, and preventative strategies to support long-term recovery.
